Web Site Management

We develop and manage the School of Medicine (SOM)’s Web presence, including content, design, architecture, navigation, policies, standards, coordination and evaluation in order to maintain alignment with best practices for Web development in higher education and academic medical centers.

Services include:

• Design, development and maintenance of the SOM Web site
• Consultation services for SOM departmental Web sites
• Adobe Contribute installation, support and training for SOM Web content editors

Special Projects

The redesigned School of Medicine Web site went live on August 18, 2008. We are in the process of establishing a schedule to redesign SOM departmental Web sites to have a consistent “look and feel.” This will include implementation of the new VCU OpenText Web Content Management System (CMS).
