Student Responsibilities and Rights and Mistreatment Prevention Policy
Medical students are required to take the quiz on Student Responsibilities and Rights and Mistreatment Prevention Policy annually, prior to the start of each academic year.
Health Insurance
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine requires that all medical students carry active health insurance. Health insurance benefits must be equal to or greater than those provided by the University insurance carrier. For details please refer to Health Insurance Policy.

Immunizations
Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine requires that all medical students complete required immunizations within six months of matriculation and that there be repeat testing for tuberculosis prior to the third year clerkships.
