The Office of Student Affairs provides student with counseling support in the following areas:
Academic Counseling
Students experiencing academic difficulties may receive counseling through the Office of Student Affairs. We also serve as a referral source to Student Academic Support Services.

Career Counseling
Deciding on a career beyond medical school is one of the most important steps you will undertake, and one you should begin thinking about during your first year.
Our Exploring Career Options in Medicine [PDF] provides a brief description of various specialties and subspecialties you may want to explore, along with contact information for faculty who would be happy to meet with you, talk about their work and arrange a shadowing experience.
