The Office of Student
Activities provides oversight to all of the organizations available
for medical students. There are over 45 organizations to which
students may join. A brief description of each is available
at the following website: www.curriculum.som.vcu.edu/storgdir/.
It is
required that all student organizations register with the Office
of Student Activities. The guidelines for students organizations
and a form that may be printed for submission to the Office of Student

Registering with the Office of Student
Activities not only recognizes that a student organization has agreed
to abide by the guidelines of the School of Medicine, but also makes
the organization eligible to apply for funding through the Medical
Student Government and the Annual
Fund.
