Professionalism
The VCU School of Medicine Professionalism Committee formed in 2000 to study professional behavior in the medical school. Their proposed Standards of Professional Behavior have since been integrated into the curriculum.

The Dean’s letter outlines the School of Medicine Professionalism Initiative, including the Standards of Professional Behavior and the process for resolving concerns, and asks each recipient to sign-on to the initiative.
