Alicia Freedy, M.D., F.A.A.P., is the Director of the Pediatric Clerkship at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. In this role Dr. Freedy is responsible for the overall Pediatric medical education provided to students who rotate through the Department of Pediatrics. In addition she also is member of the Pediatric Hospitalist practice where she has clinical responsibilities and is directly involved in patient case as well as being involved in Resident training. Dr. Freedy’s interests are in medical education, simulation and evidence based medicine.
Dr. Freedy is a graduate of The Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She completed her Pediatric training at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Freedy has academic appointments from VCU, UVA and Georgetown Schools of Medicine. Dr. Freedy lives in Fairfax with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
