Student Recognition
The School of Medicine sponsors several annual programs to draw attention to the continuing achievements of our students and to recognize their accomplishments in advance of the awarding of their degrees. The three programs described in the following sections are named as a means of commemorating individuals who played a pioneering role in establishing the strong record of advanced degree training at the Medical College of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University.
