Tuition and Fees

For 2011 - 2012 full-time tuition and fee costs for the Fall and Spring semesters are $3,767.50 (tuition) and $965.50 (fees) for a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia and $8,031.50 (tuition) and $1,253.50 (fees) for an individual not holding domiciliary status in Virginia.

For the Summer 2011 term, costs for full-time enrollment for a Virginia resident are $3,612 (tuition) and $563 (fees) and for a non-resident, $7,952 (tuition) and $770 (fees).

The School of Medicine will provide a $1,000 annualized supplement to the stipends of Ph.D. students who 1) are supported as full-time Graduate Assistants and 2) have achieved Candidacy by successfully passing their Oral Candidacy examination. Initiation of the stipend increment will take place beginning in the semester following the achievement of Candidacy.
