Match Day
When the clock strikes noon on Thursday March 18, our fourth-year students will gather for the tradition of National Match Day and learn where they will spend the next several years of their lives. At noon, they – and thousands of other fourth-year students from medical schools across the United States – will receive envelopes that contain the name of the residency program to which they have been matched.

Graduating students on the MCV and Monroe Park Campuses will be hosted by the MCV and VCU Alumni Associations, the Division of Student Affairs and the Student Government Association. For a nominal price, come join your fellow classmates at a globetroting celebration where you can sample the cuisines of Latin America, North America, the Caribbean and Pacific Rim!

Reunion 2010
Alumni from class years ending in ’0s and ’5s should mark their calendars for Reunion Weekend. Plan to re-visit campus, re-unite with old friends and make new memories!
The Reunion celebration will begin on Friday night with a reception on the Egyptian Building Plaza, and activities will continue on Saturday with tours of campus and class events. Complete Reunion information will be mailed in February.
The weekend will also include a day-long CME course that covers the latest in a broad range of fields (see below).

8th Annual Alumni Update Course

You
can earn up to 6.75 credit hours at the medical school's day-long CME course. Designed to update alumni on a broad variety of fields, it will cover topics as diverse as health-care reform, managing chronic pain and heart attack.
