Guidelines for Designing Posters
Here are examples of the shells for two standard poster sizes - 8' x 4' and 6' x 4'. On the examples you will find font names, sizes and colors that meet VCU guidelines. We encourage you to check the official VCU identity page for more in-depth information.
Below each of the two examples presented here is a link to an Adobe PDF file that contains the full-size version of the poster shell graphics. This file could provide a starting point for creating your own poster with a software package such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Publisher, etc. Or, you could provide this file to someone else who might be creating your poster for you.
